Insights: The first Royal Oak with calendar complications in addition to the aperture-type date display, Model 5572 was a response to extremely strong market demand. Collectors nicknamed the Royal Oak Day Date 5572 “The Owl”, in reference to the two large circular indicators placed on either side of the centre, indicating the day on the left and the date on the right. Only 652 watches were produced during sales years of 1983 and 1996.

Need to Know: Watch and original papers. 22 links in total and should fit a 7.5″ wrist size. The case and bracelet has surface scratches from normal wear. Please see photos closely. Watch appears unpolished and original. Some marks or spots on the dial are reflections or dust due to high intensity strobe lighting used while photographing. They are not actually on the watch or visible in natural lighting.
